Cary in the Kitchen

My love for cooking started when I was in highschool and has evolved over the years. I have always been fascinated how each culture revolves around food and how many dishes are so similar but diffrent.

It’s both one of my creative outlets and it feeds my love for learning new skills.

One of the biggest reasons I love cooking so much, is who I cook for! When I met Renae I had not been cooking anything exciting for a few years. She encourage me to try new things and one night I cooked a coq au vin. It blew me away and it re rekindle my love of cooking.

Now almost all evenings it has become our ritual to hang out together in the kitchen after work. We put down our phones, open some wine, turn on some music, and catch up on the day. Each night I try cooking new things and old favorites.  It is so much more than “dinner” it’s a special time together.
